Our committee knows that the future of our Town
and our Nation depends on our children learning the values that have
made us a great and vibrant community and be interested in being
certain that those values are preserved for their children.
That is why we have created the Town of Fishkill Republican
Committee Scholarship Fund. Each year we award three scholarships of
$1000 each to students in the Town of Fishkill who have an interest
in government and politics. Every student must enter and win an
essay contest in response to a question that is intended to measure
the desire of the writer to be involved in civic life.
It is not a partisan event. It is not the politics of the writer
that matters. It is the willingness to be involved and a desire to
contribute that counts. We believe that these are the values that
must be most prized and encouraged.
The Scholarships are funded by a dedicated set aside of 10% of all
monies raised by the Town of Fishkill Republican Committee.
