Kurt L. Buck has been a resident of the Town of Fishkill for over 30 years. He attended all the various schools such as Brinckerhoff, Van Wyck and John Jay. He’s currently enrolled as a senior at S.U.N.Y Empire State College where he is seeking his Bachelor’s Degree in Community and Human Services, with a concentration in Criminal Justice. His background and experiences are rooted in the areas of law enforcement and criminal justice.

He is a retired Police Detective from the City of Peekskill. He served the City of Peekskill Police Department with distinction, dedication and diligence as a police officer and a detective for two decades. His hard work and professionalism has been recognized by both his peers and his commanding officers. He has received numerous commendations and awards through-out his robust career. As a law enforcement officer, it has been an honor and privilege to protect and serve the citizenry of Peekskill. He’s now ready to parlay his broad based skill sets, experience and expertise in the new role as Councilman. What Kurt brings to the table is freshness in viewpoint and out of the box thinking that will enable the Town to optimize its services to its tax payers while still maintaining the core values that make our nation great. During his duties as a law enforcement officer, he came in contact with thousands of citizens within Peekskill. This enabled Kurt to learn and understand at the ground level what their respective needs and expectations are from their local elected officials. Kurt will give his all, 110% to make sure the citizens of Fishkill receive the necessary services that they need and deserve as tax payers. Kurt would deeply appreciate your support in his quest on becoming one of the next Councilmen for the Town of Fishkill.
